On June 20-24, within the framework of ''Scaling up green finance practices in Armenia'' grant project, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Environment of the RA, the Ministry of Finance of the RA, Ministry of Economy of the RA, the Central Bank of Armenia and the commercial banks was held a study visit with the leading European financial institutions-headquarters of the KfW and the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) within the framework of ՛՛green՛՛ finance international best practice survey.
For the 4th year in a row, ARMSWISSBANK has been awarded “The Most Active Issuing Bank in Armenia” during the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) which took place May 10-12, 2022 in Marrakesh, the Morocco.
On the 24th of March 2022, a new loan agreement with ARMSWISSBANK CJSC and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) was signed to promote trade financing in the amount of USD 5 million.

The third phase of the Program was implemented by PwC Armenia and PwC Switzerland.
On November 26, ARMSWISSBANK CJSC hosted an online webinar entitled “Energy Efficient Investments for SMEs” organised jointly with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) in Armenia, and attended by the Bank’s clients and representatives of other organisations.
On October 20, the official opening ceremony of "Sharosolar" industrial solar power station took place in Katnaghbyur community of Aragatsotn region.
The installed capacity of the station is 5 MW (photovoltaic capacity 6 MW). The most modern bifacial half-cut panels of the international market were used, which generate electricity through the front and opposite faces.
ARMSWISSBANK has been awarded “Leading Partner Bank in Armenia” in 2021 by Asian Development Bank (ADB) based on previous year trade finance results. The award is the result of the Bank's year-over-year effective cooperation with ADB within the scope of trade finance program.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and ARMSWISSBANK have signed two new loan agreements totalling USD 8 million under the SME Competitiveness Programme in Eastern Partnership that is supported by the European Union (EU) ("SME Competitiveness Programme") and Green Economy Financing Facility in Armenia Phase ll Energy Efficiency Program (“GEFF in Armenia”) supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
