ARMSWISSBANK'S COMMITMENT TO GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE FINANCING HIGHLIGHTED AT "PATHWAYS TO PARIS 2024" EVENT ORGANIZED BY EBRD

ARMSWISSBANK's Deputy CEO and Director of the Business Development Department, Ara Makaryan, recently participated in the "Pathways to Paris 2024" event organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The event, held from October 3-4 in Antalya, Turkey, focused on accelerating climate action and sustainable financing initiatives in the lead-up to the Paris Agreement milestones.

During the event, Mr. Makaryan took part in a panel discussion where he shared ARMSWISSBANK's experience in utilizing Green Trade Finance products. The bank has been actively pursuing green and sustainable financing solutions as part of its core strategy to support environmentally responsible business practices. In his presentation, Mr. Makaryan highlighted the importance of leveraging financial instruments to promote sustainable development and emphasized ARMSWISSBANK's commitment to supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy.

"Green trade finance is not just a product for us; it is an integral part of our strategy to foster sustainable development in Armenia and beyond," stated Mr. Makaryan.
