On September 9, 2024, ''ArmSwissBank'' CJSC and the Vagharshapat Municipality signed a memorandum aimed at supporting the city’s environmental improvement. The memorandum was signed by the Bank's Executive Director Mr. Gevorg Machanyan, and the Head of Vagharshapat Municipality Ms. Diana Gasparyan.

On November 14, within the framework of the “10 million trees” program initiated by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, 1 Hectare of forest was established with the financing of “ARMSWISSBANK” CJSC. The employees of the Bank headed by the Executive director Mr. Gevorg Machanyan, as well as the employees of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia headed by Minister Mr. Romanos Petrosyan and head of the Departments had their personal participation in the works.

ARMSWISSBANK donated audio guide devices to National Museum of Architecture and Urbanism, through which visitors will have opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibits presented in the museum in six languages.

Emphasizing the saturation of museums with new technologies and keeping up with the times, Armswissbank CJSC is next to the culture even in these hard days and has included a number of donations for various cultural centers of Armenia in its cultural and social assistance programs dedicated to its 15th anniversary.

On November 16, 2019 Bank employees, with the sponsorship of “ARMSWISSBANK” CJSC and with the support of Tavush provinsial administration, planted about 550 trees, in particular royal oranges, apples, figs and nuts, in the area of 6,500 square meters near the secondary school of Sevkar community in Tavush region. At the suggestion of the provincial administration in Tavush, the fruit trees were selected according to the climatic conditions of the region.

Attaching importance to the role and importance of social responsibility the Bank's employees, according to tradition, visited the orphanage in Gavar on Children's Day.

On April 13, ARMSWISSBANK team went to Aragatsotn and visited 7 churches of the province.

With the support of ARMSWISSBANK the water line of Movses community, which has long been cut off from the water supply, has been restored.

The 550-meter-long water line has completely changed with new pipes and now the community's population is already using water.

The Bank has implemented another important social support and has given happiness to those who need it.

Meanwhile, the village head and residents of Movses were grateful to the Bank, Executive Director Mr. Gevorg Machanyan and the entire staff or the implementation of the long-awaited water line.

On the eve of New Year, ARMSWISSBANK and the Bank staff gave a New Year miracle to children from the border village of Movses, as well as socially vulnerable families and children.

Mainly-

• 21 Syrian-Armenian socially vulnerable families were given gift cards,
• Within the framework of World Vision's Secret Santa program, 25 children from vulnerable and disadvantaged families received their gifts,
• 54 children from the border Movses village had their dream presents, as well as computers, sound equipment, stationery, books donated by the Bank to the village culture house. Armswissbank permanently highlights the importance of corporate social responsibility and the importance of support and tries to give much joy and smile to those who need it.

On the threshold of New Year’s Eve, Armswissbank, through the office of World Vision Armenia, gifted pakages to 90 children living in Amasia, composed of fairy tale books and intellectual games. In addition to it, the kindergarten library of Amasia region got replenished with new books and games, that will give an opportunity to the kindergarten staff to get acquainted with the new approaches to children’s comprehensive education, upbringing and entertainment.

Highlighting the activation of cultural life in Armenia ARMSWISSBANK has been supporting the organization of the 5th Aram Khachaturian International Festival, which will be held from October 11 to December 11, 2017, acting as a sponsor.
